Shannon Hughes, a professional renovator in Lighthouse Cove, Oregon, takes on a big project of converting his friend’s family home into a B&B. Next, she is going to restore a historic home for Macintyre Sullivan, an investigative journalist.

Shannon’s life takes a turn when one of her father’s group members dies, and the police conclude their investigation, stating accident is the reason for death. But according to Shannon, it is a murder, and she begins her own investigation.
