Bring It On (2000)

Torrance Shipman is now the captain of her cheerleading squad, The Toros, and she is practicing for a sixth consecutive national title with her team. Torrance learns that her teammate, Carver is injured and replaces her with Missy Pantone, a gymnast who has recently joined the school for her senior year.

When Missy joins Toros for practice, she recognizes that the routine is identical to a team she had competed with in the past and accuses Torrance of stealing the routine. Further, Missy and Torrance go to LA to watch the routine of Compton Clovers and get shocked that their routine is identical to Toros routine.

Whittier Smith moves to California to join the national champion varsity cheerleading team. Whittier meets her friend, Monica and together they go for a tryout. After the tryout, Head cheerleader Tina decides to take both of them in their team, but Greg, the gay leader of the male cheerleaders, decides to make Whittier the next head cheerleader.

Angry Tina starts to behave very demanding and controlling with Whittier. When Tina asks Whittier to choose between friendship and the squad, Tina and Monica both quit the teams and decides to make their own team by auditioning students in drama club, the dance club, and other groups.

In Pacific Vista High School, Britney is the captain of her cheerleading team but Winnie Harper, a member of her team dislikes her and is ready to do anything to gain her position. Britney’s life completely changes when her father losses her Job and they relocates to a fictional city, Crenshaw Heights.

After trying hard to adjust, Britney meets her friend Camille, cheerleading captain of the Crenshaw Heights Warriors. Camille motives Britney for a tryout where Britney impresses everyone with her skills and becomes a part of Camillie’s cheerleading team.

Carson is the captain of The West Coast Sharks Cheerleading Squad while Brooke leads the East Coast Jets Cheerleading Squad. both the teams are arch-rivals of each other and the Jets have beaten the Sharks at the annual Cheer Camp Championships three times in a row.

Carson and Penn meet each other on the first day at Camp Spirit-Thunder and start to like each other, but when Carson learns that Penn is a Jets, she gives up everything. While Carson is guarding the Spirit Stick, Penn arrives to ask her out but when Carson arrives back, she finds Spirit Stick missing.

Lina Cruz is a cheerleader in East L.A. but after her widowed mother remarriage, she transfers to Malibu Vista High School where she has to start all over again. Lina in school learns about Avery, captain of ‘The Jaguars’ and school squad, ‘The Sea Lions’.

Lina’s mother forces her to join The Sea Lions where she meets and impresses Evan, Avery’s younger brothe,r and ends up being the captain of The Sea Lions. Lina takes the command and The Sea Lions start their practice to compete in All-Star Championship.
